BCA Families are invited to join us on Thursday, March 25, 6:30-7:30 to walk through the Thompson Gymnasium to read creative writing, view original art, and listen to live performances. We are pleased to present the works of talented BCA Royal artists.
Upcoming - BCA's Annual Spring Classic
Make plans to enjoy a day on the greens with food, fun, and fellowship. We are planning an amazing day at Stoney Creek Golf Club on Friday, April 23. All proceeds benefit BCA's Annual Fund.
Senior Signs with Emory & Henry College
BCA Senior Rachel Ritter signed letter of intent to swim with Emory & Henry College, NCAA Division II. Ritter is also receiving Emory & Henry's Founder's Scholarship, the highest merit scholarship offered by the college.
Senior Basketball Star Recognized
BCA Senior Brock Williams was presented a framed BCA jersey recognizing his 2,000th point scored in a basketball game (12/11/2020). Williams has signed a letter of intent to play basketball with High Point University.
BCA students along with faculty and staff packed 55,680 meals at our annual Feed the Hunger Pack-a-thon. These meals will go to those in need in Haiti, Jamaica, and Sri Lanka.
BCA Teacher Earns US Citizenship
BCA Middle School teacher Tara Farmer received her US citizenship! Farmer, a former Canadian, was celebrated on campus on February 25.
Celebrating Black History Month
BCA students learned and celebrated key African American historical and Christian figures who have impacted the USA for good in so many ways. From our mourning announcements to elementary chapel services about Mary McLeod Bethune, throughout BCA we celebrated God's work in and through the lives of African Americans.
BCA Swim Team Makes History
BCA Swim Team made school history at the NCISAA D3 State Swim Championship. Senior Rachel Ritter won first place (gold) in the 500 freestyle and placed third (bronze) in the 100 breaststroke. Freshman Owen Nye brought home a third place (bronze) in the 200 IM and a second place (silver) in the 500 freestyle.
BCA Participates in World Read Aloud Day
This special day called attention to the importance of sharing stories by challenging participants to grab a book, find an audience, and read aloud! BCA students and faculty/staff chose to grab the Bible and bathe the campus in God's Word for 7 hours and 15 minutes straight!
